Stairway Assembly
At last our Stairways' delivery and assembly happened. This is actually the second to the last part of completing our dreamhouse. I waited for this for such a long time. For recap, we have been using a temporary building stairway made of metal and wood from the beginning of our house building. It has been two years since then.

Kera Door Repair c/o ProHaus (Keratür Reparatur beim ProHaus)
We have a schedule visit from ProHaus because of our main door. We already mentioned about this problem last year, but we only receive a reply that they will forward our concern to Keratür (the company who built the door). For the past months, we let the time go and did not follow-up on this issue until the past two weeks. ProHaus replied that their service people will visit us and repair our door.
We also have issues with our windows. And since it is from ProHaus (Gussek Fenstern), we expected that they will address and repair it too.
The ProHaus service person arrived 15 minutes late. He worked for two hours. He fixed our main door, changed the silicon rubber on the side of the door with a new one. He check and set all the windows on its right position. He do sanding on one of our Terrace windows and painted it. The weather was not good. It was raining. But the paint was able to dry fast. Everything went well with this visit. Almost perfect, except that hubby was not around. He needs to work.

Working on the House Continues (Filling, sanding and painting the wooden parts Part 1)
Today it says the weather is dry but already cold. Early morning, hubby and Fil went to the building site to do some work. I'd love to help, but as usual, I cannot leave my two kids alone with Mil.
They will first do the preparation and painting of the ceiling side portion of the roof. This is important to accomplish when the weather is dry (That is today. Tomorrow it will rain again). This is ideal to do since the scaffolding is still around the house. We were informed that it will be dismantled on the 47th week (starting 18 of November). We hope that before it will be gone, our solar panels are already on the roof and the painting is already done.
I will visit the building site later after the kids are awake from their afternoon nap, and will take some pictures.
And another thing, yesterday at 2 pm the person in-charge to check on the house from our Finance entity arrived. It was only a short visit and he just took few photos and then done.

Heating System Consultant and Installer's Visit
Today we met Herr W. who will do our heating system. He checked on the house, where the pipes will go thru, how and where the Solar panel will be installed, he also checked the equipments delivered to fully install the heating system. There are two things that are not OK, but as of the moment, everything is fine.
We made a schedule to install the solar panel for Tuesday next week. I hope the weather will cooperate. This is important, because the scaffolding is still around the house.

Building Consultants' Visit (Ausbauberater Termin)
Last day of receiving the Ausbaupaket and in the afternoon arrived our building consultant from ProHaus Herr V. I was not on the building site and only hubby was able to talk with him. He gave some tipps on how to work on the walls, the insulation materials etc.
Building Materials Delivery Day 2 (Ausbaupaket Lieferung Tag 2)
First delivery DONE. Today is the second batch. This time, we requested some Students for help (with pay ofcourse). Good that the delivery time and the time that the helpers arrived, fit. The weather was also fine this morning until this afternoon. Atleast by the time all the plasterboard (Rigips) were inside the house.
The first truck arrived at 9:15 am, delivering the Heating System with the materials and the three solar panels for the roof. The second truck arrived at 10:15 am, delivering the plasterboard and the materials with it. The helpers arrived at 10 am, perfect timing to help hubby and Kai.

Building Materials Delivery Day 1 (Ausbaupaket Lieferung Tag 1)
Today is the scheduled day for the building materials to arrive. It was normally scheduled Oct. 29-30, few days after building the house. But we requested ProHaus to move it to Nov. 4-5 because hubbby was in out-of-town project.
The first delivery truck arrived at 9:30 am. It delivered the materials such as the chipboard (spanplatten), electric materials, window ledges, and materials needed for the outside wall of the house (fassadenzubehör). The second truck arrived around 2:20 pm. It delivered the Insulation materials.
On the first truck hubby and his friend Kai, carried all the heavy materials... and I helped with the small and not heavy ones. On the second truck, it was hubby and I who were left on the building site, and he carried most of the insulations materials *sigh* It was heavy! I helped him, but only with the ones that are 160mm thick rolls. But the rest, he carried it alone inside the house with a bad weather at that... RAINING! It was indeed a hard day for hubby, therefore he deserves a warm tomato soup :)

ProHaus Fast Service
Today at around 10:40 am Herr T., Site Manager (Bauleiter) from ProHaus arrived. I was already on the building site, so as my FIL. He checked on the problem, which is the wall in our work room. He explained why it happened. Then he simply put the building film downwards to avoid the water to fill-up together and push the water to go inside the wall.
Aside from checking on the problem, he also checked the whole house for some other issues. Good, that we don't have any (for now!). He also gave some tipps on how are we going to do the next steps...
We are excited what will happen this coming Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The weather report says, it will rain and rain and rain.
I took some pictures after it was done.

We Signed!
We signed a building contract from ProHaus last weekend and sent it right away. We are just waiting for the reply.
It has been a long time since we dream to have our own house. It all started after the birth of our first born at the year 2009. We started to save all the extra money that we have. We made decisions that are not easy, but needed in order to make our dream come true. We first met the first House Consultant last November 2010.
We are now on the waiting phase and hopefully we made the right decision on whom to build our family dream house.
