Underfloor Heating Pipe - Final Installation (Fußbodenheizung Finale)

Hubby was with his work very busy. He was always out-of-town thus he was not able to continue working in our building site.

It is again weekend and we are hoping that this will be the last installation of the underfloor heating pipes.

Hubby continue installing the pipes at the basement. In the afternoon, his helper arrived and started to fix the end of the pipes to the underfloor heating manifold. He also started to work on the bath towel radiators. They were able to run water on the pipes and reached 35 degress celsius at the ground floor. They would like to continue the test on Monday.

Continuing installing the underfloor heating pipe even on Sundays. This time, hubby started the basement area. And since the weather was good --- it was sunny, the kids were at the garden with Grandparents. I was then able to assist hubby to place it. After finishing two rooms, we put some roof tiles on the parts that are going-up.

Hubby continued installing the underfloor heating pipes during the week. He started at the ground floor. And during the weekend, his helper from the Plumbing Company arrived and helped him continue the job.

Underfloor Heating Plate - Part 3 ((Fußbodenheizung mit Noppenplate - Teil 3)

I was able to finally finished placing the underfloor heating plates at the basement. All the rooms, even the utility room is with underfloor heating plate. After that, I cleaned-up and cut the remaining plates into pieces so it is easier to get rid of it.

Hubby and his helper from a Plumbing Company, started to install the underfloor heating pipes at the second floor. They worked almost the whole Saturday and finished three rooms.

Underfloor Heating Plate - Part 2 (Fußbodenheizung mit Noppenplate - Teil 2)

Ground floor and second floor is officially finished with underfloor heating plate installation. Hubby was working on it for the last days and I continued some parts of it this morning. It is now time to place the underflooring heating plate at the basement area. I started it this morning and was only able to finish one room out of five. We ran-out of plates. Since we need to empty the house before the troop of A & D arrive to install the insulation boards, we moved some plates to my in-laws' house.

For the past few days I fixed the Damp Proof Membrane. There are some area that we are not satisfied thus, we decided to undo it. Building a house is only once in a lifetime, so better make it as proper as possible. I only need to finish the basement area and then it is done.

Underfloor Heating Plate - Part 1 (Fußbodenheizung mit Noppenplate - Teil 1)

Since the second floor is now ready for the installation of underfloor heating plate, hubby started to put it on yesterday night. I helped him cut the plates for the parts like corners. We worked for an hour and a half and the second floor area was half-finished.

This morning I continued cutting some plates for the corners, and I was able to finish two rooms and the lobby area of the second floor.

We only need to do the bathroom area and second floor is ready for the underfloor heating pipes. I am excited!
