Installing the Supporting Beam of the Ceiling Substructure Room 3 (Deckenunterkonstruktionen Zimmer 3)

Hubby and his dad continued installing the supporting beam on the third room upstairs, after I finished installing the vapor retarder. They finished it yesterday and it is now ready for drywall installation.

Gallery Day 6 (Galerie Tag 6)

The workers arrived late this afternoon to dismantle the scaffolding and continue the remaining work. They planned to finish the whole work tonight, but, we said they can continue the rest of the work on the next available time. The reason for that is we would like to install the vapor retarder on our own and hubby would like to check on the cables before the part of the main door will be totally closed.

When I arrived at the building site and then opened the door ---  I was taken-a-back of how it looks like. The gallery was really looking inviting and bright. It looks different after it's "almost" being done. It will for sure looks awesome when it is finish.

Sometimes, it is such a nice feeling to be reminded of our dream to live on this wonderful house, by seeing the finished part of it.

Gallery Day 4 and 5 (Galerie Tag 4 u. 5)

The worker started the drywall sanding yesterday.

This morning he arrived to do the second batch of it.

We are hoping that this part of the house will be done this week or at least until this weekend.

Installing Cloakroom's Vapor Retarder (Garderobe Dampfbrensfolie Anwendung)

The workers who's working on our Gallery did not arrive for the past few days. Since we were not that happy about the installation of the vapor retarder, we decided that we will do it on our own.

I finished installing the vapor retarder on the cloakroom downstairs. This is now ready, just in-case the workers will continue installing the support beam of the ceiling substructure, planking with the wood-based panels and the drywall installation.

Vapor Retarder Installation Room 3-3 (Dampfbremse anbringen Zimmer 3-3)

This afternoon, hubby and I decided to do the vapor retarder in Room 3. We were able to install it and I will continue the rest tomorrow.

Gallery Day 2 and 3 (Galerie Tag 2 u. 3)

Day 2 of working on the Gallery, the two workers continued with drywall installation. Day 3 it was only one worker (the main person), who arrived and continued the work. He planned to start filling the gypsum plasterboards later this afternoon. We hope that the Gallery will be finished this week.

Hubby and I checked on the building site about the job, the workers did yesterday. We decided then that I will repair or at least make the Vapor Retarder a little bit better and he will continue the other remaining works. This is how it looks like now...
