Heating System Installation Part 2 (Heizungsinstallation Teil 2)

Our heating system specialist (Starkon) with his helper arrived at 10:45 am at the building site today. Around 11:00 am the head of the team fetched some materials and then was back at 11:20 am.

The goal for this day is to finish the heating system installation, double check on the solar (if everything is working good), before we will close the ceiling part of one the rooms where the pipe is running thru.

The heating system specialist and his team left the building site at around 13:15 pm.

Visit of our Building Consultant (Besuch von Ausbau-Berater)

Today is the schedule of our building consultant's visit. Herr V. arrived at around 11:30 am. We checked on the house and throw him lots of questions about the things that we still need to do. At this point, he said everything that hubby did were all good. He made some suggestions and answered all our queries.

Just for an update: the past few weeks were stressful and not good. Hubby was the only one working on the building site. We encountered issues that makes this project more stressful. Frustrations arrised and I am losing hope to move-in this year :( I wish to move-in to our house at most December 2014. Will it happen? Time only knows.

At the moment, hubby continued the electric works inside the house, as well as closing the walls with plywood. I, on the other hand documented where the switches and sockets are. This is very important. Documentation helps the work to be easier later. If the walls are all closed, we then know where the electric lines pass-thru. How far should we make a hole for the sockets, switches and etc.

Hubby continued closing the walls in our living and dinning rooms.

He also started to work on another room in the second floor. Three walls out of four were already closed. Looking forward to also close this room before the week ends.

Drywall Installation Room 2-2 (Rigips Installation Zimmer 2-2)

Hubby's dad and I worked at the building site this morning. We continued the drywall installation that was started last week. It's almost finished... only one wall to go.

Drywall Installation Room 2-1 (Rigips Installation Zimmer 2-1)

Hubby took one week vacation leave to work on our house. We (hubby's dad, hubby and I), worked together most of the days during this week. Good thing that the weather cooperated and it remained mostly sunny and warm. Therefore, our kids with their grandma played in the garden.

Our goal is to see progress on this house project. There are still a lot of things need to be done. I cannot even imagine the possibility to moved-in this year. Anyway, there is no rush... and our goal still remain --- moving-in this year.

This week, we were able to almost finished one children's room. It really looks good and it feels good to see one room almost done.

Installing the Supporting Beam of the Ceiling Substructure Room 2-1 (Deckenunterkonstruktionen Zimmer 2-1)

We (hubby's dad, hubby and I), started the installation of the supporting beam for the ceiling substructure in the Children's Room 2. This week, hubby and his dad finished the job.

Planking with Wood-based Panels Part 5 (Beplankung der Innenwand Teil 5)

Hubby finsihed on planking the wooden panel for Children's Room 2 this week. He already started doing planking since he has time after work and also during weekends. He was also able to start the other rooms like the Children's Room 1, Parent's Room, Bathroom, Office room, Guest's Toilet, our Living and Dining rooms. This work is always being repeated in every room and every hallway of our house.

I am very proud of my husband. He is doing this work ALONE and he has done a lot. Kudos my love!

Vapor Retarder Installation Room 2-3 (Dampfbremse anbringen Zimmer 2-3)

This week, hubby and I finished the installation of the vapor retarder in our Children's Room 2.
