ProHaus Fast Service

Today at around 10:40 am Herr T., Site Manager (Bauleiter) from ProHaus arrived. I was already on the building site, so as my FIL. He checked on the problem, which is the wall in our work room. He explained why it happened. Then he simply put the building film downwards to avoid the water to fill-up together and push the water to go inside the wall.

Aside from checking on the problem, he also checked the whole house for some other issues. Good, that we don't have any (for now!). He also gave some tipps on how are we going to do the next steps...

We are excited what will happen this coming Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The weather report says, it will rain and rain and rain.

I took some pictures after it was done.

First Issue - Water Getting Thru the Wall

While working with hubby on the house yesterday, it rained so hard and then we saw a big issue. One room, which is the work room got totally wet. The rain is coming thru the wall. We do not know what the cause is but it is NOT GOOD :(

Today, I called ProHaus on the office of Herr H. and they said, they will contact head of Engineering who should check on it as soon as possible. I'm hoping that they will do check this asap, because we need to finish the wall relining before the materials arrives.

Here are some pics...

Update: After lunch, I received a call from Hr. T of ProHaus. He asked for the photos of the wall that is creating an issue. I sent it asap and he said he will contact us asap for a schedule to visit the place, check on it and resolve it.

First Work ~ Wall Relining

After the house was built, it is now our turn to do our part. The first work that we need to accomplish is the wall relining (Wand Unterfütterung). We started to do the work today, though it is Sunday, because hubby was at work the whole day Saturday.

The weather was not that friendly. It was raining.

Here are few pictures..

Bills! Bills! Bills!

Today, we received the ProHaus' bills for building the basement and building the house. The house is not yet finish but the bills are already here. On the other hand, the basement was long been finish and the bills came together with the house.

Here we go...big amounts that should be paid... whoaaa!

For the last weeks, we were also just paying big amounts for the land, the excavation work, materials needed etc.

Structural Architect's Report or Acceptance Report (Abnahmebericht Rohbau)

Today at around 2:15 PM, we met our Architect Herr G.

The ProHaus people are still working and still NOT FINISHED. Ironically, we still continue with the Structural Acceptance Report (Abnahmebericht). We noted all the things that are ok and still-in-process. We checked the main things such as the roof installation, the chimney, the solar holder, straightened walls of the house, the doors, windows, if the house plan was followed, the floor, if the inner walls are properly built and many more. So far so good.

House Building Day 3 (Hausaufbau Tag 3)

Early in the morning the weather was not friendly. It was raining, not hard but still raining. It was a long night for us because of the Richtfest. It was a good feeling to really have that celebration. Though today, it was NOT so good day because of some issues. But life needs to go on.

Richtfest Sonnenweg

In the afternoon, I was busy preparing the salad and finger foods for the Richtfest. Hubby worked today. In-laws bought the sausages and bread for tonights menu. When hubby arrived, we finished preparing the place (which was one of the basement rooms), hubby cut a tree on his parent's garden for the party and then we brought all the foods and drinks to the building site.

At last, I can be seen on the pics :)

House Building Day 2 (Hausaufbau Tag 2)

Today the weather is not good :(

It rained starting dawn, the whole morning until at this time (almost lunch). I went to the building site after bringing our kuya to Kindergarten. It was raining hard then. I offered and brought coffee to the worker and then fix one of the basement rooms for tonights' Richtfest.

Richtfest is a celebration for the house owner, the house workers, family, neighbors and friends for a successful building of the house. It is usually done after the stuctural work of the house is finish (this is until the roof without roofing tiles).

This morning this is how it looks like...

Basement room ready for decoration :)

Late this afternoon, while busy preparing for the Richtfest, I was able to get few more pictures :)
